There are times when God’s plan doesn’t always make sense to us. As a child violinist, the four hours of practice each day gave me endless discipline and the ability to concentrate. It also gave me the persistence to work my way through college. I grew up in a large, blue-collar family, so this was necessary.
Years later, with a dual Bachelor of Arts in Music, I realized that if I wanted a nice home, that a mortgage would need to be paid. Sometime during my tenure as a masters candidate in accounting, I started running. All three talents – investing on the stock exchange with a Series 7 registration; training for marathons (I have completed forty); and being a dues-paying professional violinist – were gifts given to me. Am I lucky? Good news – we create our own luck.
Had I not WORKED to cultivate these things, I would not have been able to help so many people with their goals financially. Let me help you.
